Services: Primary care program in New York specifically designed for the health needs of adolescents. The Adolescent Health Center provides confidential comprehensive medical, mental health, family planning, and health education services to young people between the ages of 10-26.

Boriken Neighborhood Health Center

Services: EHCHS is a not-for-profit community-based organization established in 1965 to provide crucially needed services to residents of East Harlem. Today, EHCHS is a bilingual/bicultural organization providing a broad range of services to a largely Latino clientele. Full health and dental with pharmacy among other social programs.

Settlement Health Services

Services: Mission is to provide East Harlem/El Barrio with high quality, comprehensive, accessible and culturally sensitive preventive and primary care services, and to coordinate the other levels of health care that are necessary. We include women’s health, pediatrics, adult medicine, podiatry, HIV medicine and case management, and social services.

Little Sisters of the Assumption Family Health Services

Services: Over the years, programs have expanded in response to community needs. They now include the Advocacy Office and Emergency Food Pantry, the Family Support (Preventive Services) Program, the Early Childhood Program, the Community Life Program and The Sharing Place thrift store. The Home Health Agency program offers nursing care to those with diabetes or asthma, new mothers and babies, people living with HIV or AIDS, and the homebound elderly.

Services: Offers free services for children with asthma, including: Parent Support Groups; Education and Help to Manage Asthma; Pest Management Services; Help with NYC Public Housing Repairs; Basic ESL and Asthma Classes for Adults; Connection to Your Local Health Care Professionals; EHACE Also offers Asthma Counselor Program for children with poorly-controlled asthma

La Casita de la Salud is New York Medical College's free clinic based in Manhattan and, like EHHOP, they are dedicated to serving underserved population of East Harlem. Their only requirement is that the patient be 18 years of age or older.
