Comprehensive Treatment Institute (CTI) - Bronx

1. Alcohol/drug education 2. Relapse prevention group participation 3. Individual counseling 4. Recreational activities 5. Vocational 6. Medical referral services and HIV/AIDS education 7. Snack and carfare Cost: Medicaid, sliding scale Eligibility: men and women (ages 18+) who have a problem with substance abuse; family members who want to be engaged.

Continuing Care Treatment (CCT)

360 West 125th Street, Suite #8 New York, NY 10027 Phone: (212) 280-1031 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm Services: Provides a therapeutic environment and services for individuals who are recovering from chemical dependence and substance abuse. Counselors from CCT works closely with parole, probation, D-TAP, TASC, and other mandating agencies. A minimum of six months participation is required for successful completion of CCT. After completion of six months, clients may continue participating in CCT programs and receive assistance in maintaining sobriety. Eligibility: • Age 18+ with substance abuse history • Mandated to counseling for domestic violence, anger management, and/or parenting skills counseling in addition to substance abuse treatment • Significant others and family members welcome Cost: Insurance, or sliding scale.

Emma L. Bowen Community Service Center

Bowen Community Service Center (the Center) delivers a broad range of services, which address mental health and substance abuse issues with a major focus on residents of Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood, working with children/adolescents and their families as well as adults and senior citizens. Services include: • Emergency services • Adult services • Geriatric services • Children services • Residential services (20-bed facility for recovery from alcoholism and chemical dependency) Cost: Medicare, Medicaid, private, self pay, and sliding fee scale. Eligibility: all are welcome.
