Charity Care is not necessary: Patients needing asymptomatic (screening) colonoscopies (and possibly symptomatic colonoscopies) can have the procedure done free of charge at the Endoscopy Center of New York on 93rd & 3rd.

Cost

Asymptomatic EGDs are currently free of charge.

Symptomatic EGDs may require charity care if the procedure cannot be done at the Endoscopy Center of New York. If this is the case, REAP will grant your patient Charity Care and place them on sliding scale financial assistance once your patient submits documents confirming their income. Most EHHOP patients are placed on Level 1. For more information, please contact the Accessory Referrals Manager.

There is no wait time for asymptomatic colonoscopies.
