Outside Referrals

Below is a list of available curbside consults that EHHOP has used in the past. These are Sinai faculty with whom we have good relationships and are available for curbside consults and at times free patient visits. You must coordinate with the Chief TS, who will work with you to craft an email to send to these individuals. The following are names of faculty providers.

  1. Dermatology: Dr. Jacob Levitt
  2. Rheumatology: Dr. Leslie Kerr
  3. Endocrinology: Dr. Ronald Tamler
  4. Ortho for JOINT stuff: DR. THOMAS AND MEAH DO JOINT INJECTIONS AND Dr. Thomas is a joint specialist, so schedule the patient for when one of them is in clinic. Drs. Steve Berns and Joseph Truglio also can do jt injections.
  5. Cardiology: Coordinate with the Cards Chief TS who can coordinate with the EHHOP Cards fellows or Dr. Newsha Ghodsi, a Cardiologist who frequently precepts at EHHOP. Patients who need close follow up are also often seen by Dr. Kevin Dunsky for more formal referrals.
  6. Neurology: Dr. Michelle Fabian, Dr. Lara Marcuse (epilepsy), Dr. Madeline Fields (epilepsy), Dr. Deborah Horowitz (carotid dopplers)
  7. Heme/Onc: Dr. Eileen Scigliano
  8. Surgery: Dr. Ed Chin, Dr. Susan Lerner Dr. Celia Divino (follow instructions on the Surgery referral tab in the "Pt Services" section of the Ehhapp)
  9. Anesthesia: Dr. Michael Chietero

Additional referrals: a. Visiting Nurses (for home PT): Please fill out the VNS form available in the patient services tab and give it to ACT. An order for the referral should be placed on the patient’s chart and the referral should be included in the referrals@mssm.edu email.
