Patients who need reading glasses can now get them during their EHHOP Main Clinic appointment without needing to be referred to EHHOphtho or an external prescription glasses program.
Senior Clinicians
Retrieve the reading glasses from IMA Locker 7228 using the combinations on this page. If they are not in the locker, please check the inventory for their location.
Have patients hold Snellen card at their typical reading distance (instead of 14 inches away)
Give patients reading glasses of increasing prescription until patient can read 20/20
If patient cannot read using any of the glasses, refer to EHHOPhtho
Update the reading glasses log with the prescription of the set that you gave out.
Update the inventory to indicate that you took a pair of glasses and distributed them to a patient.
Don't forget to return the remaining glasses to locker 7228 (or wherever you found them)!
