Lab results will appear by Saturday evening or Sunday morning. The TS write result notes on Sunday mornings but will wait if the patient is a CC patient.
If you have listed yourself on the patient's care team in Epic, you will receive all lab results in your inbox. Never "DONE" a result in your inbox. This will erase it for everyone.
To write a result note:
- Go to your Epic inbox
- Click Lab Results
- Highlight the result of interest
- Click "Rslt Note" in the horizontal bar above the result window
- Type your result note. Comment on any normal or abnormal results and your plan for management based on these results.
