Pre-Patient Arrival

  1. Open Cerner, EPIC, Callsheet
  2. Open Callsheet for social worker
  3. Unlock the fridges in the TS rooms (key with round head)
  4. Assign exam rooms for clinician teams and specialty services
  5. Make sure the hallway lights are on—the switch is by the door next to the elevators
  6. Give ACT a room in the main hallway. Fill the rest of the rooms with clinic teams.
  7. If there are specialty services in clinic, they should be given exam rooms in the main hallway.
  8. Bring out the EHHOP Front Desk Bin
  9. If available, set out sample copies of several of the patient education brochures (both English and Spanish)
  10. In EPIC, verify that each patient has Dr. Meah assigned as the PCP. -Go to Visit Navigator --> Care Teams --> then add Dr. Meah as PCP. Make sure to assign her to get ALL results and admissions.
  11. In EPIC, verify that everyone has the Mt. Sinai pharmacy listed as their primary pharmacy.
    -Open chart in EPIC --> Demographics --> click Clinical Information --> under Pharmacy preferences, it should say "Mount Sinai Employee Pharmacy."
  12. Set up Display Screen (instructions in pre-clinic email)
